U.S. Department of Energy Proposes New Energy Conservation Standards for Fluorescent Lamp Ballasts

The U.S. Department of Energy has proposed amended energy conservation standards for fluorescent lamp ballasts, as required by the Energy Policy and Conservation Act, with the goal of saving a significant amount of energy and announcing a public meeting to receive comments on the proposed standards.
