Energy Conservation Program: Compliance Date Regarding the Test Procedures for Walk-In Coolers and Freezers and the Certification for Metal Halide Lamp Ballasts and Fixtures

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has set a compliance date for manufacturers to use a recently issued test procedure when certifying walk-in coolers and freezers, and proposes changes to regulatory text to clarify certification requirements for components of these equipment and metal halide lamp ballasts and fixtures.
