Japan Declares Foreign Countries as Reciprocating Countries for Family Support Enforcement

The Ministry of Justice has declared several foreign countries as reciprocating countries for enforcing family support (maintenance) obligations, allowing Japanese citizens to seek assistance from these countries in collecting unpaid maintenance payments. This move aims to improve the enforcement of maintenance obligations globally.
