CBP Adopts Final Rule on Interest for Untimely Vessel Repair Duties

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has finalized a rule that will charge interest on unpaid vessel repair duties if the owner or master of a U.S.-documented vessel fails to pay within 30 days of receiving a bill.
