U.S. Treasury to Revise Regulations for State and Local Government Series Securities

The U.S. Department of the Treasury is issuing a final rule to revise regulations governing State and Local Government Series securities, which are non-marketable Treasury securities sold only to issuers of tax-exempt securities, amid low yields in the secondary market for some marketable Treasury securities.
