Extension of Import Restrictions Imposed on Archaeological Material From Mali

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations have been amended to extend import restrictions on archaeological material from Mali for an additional five years, due to ongoing concerns about the illicit trade of cultural property. The restrictions, which were previously set to expire on September 19, 2012, will now remain in effect until 2017.
