NMFS Exempts New Jersey and Washington D.C. from National Saltwater Angler Registry Program
The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has designated New Jersey and the District of Columbia as exempted states for recreational saltwater anglers, spearfishers, and commercial for-hire fishing vessels, allowing them to operate without registering with the program.
