FDA Releases Guidance on New Contrast Imaging Indication Considerations for Medical Devices and Approved Products

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has released a guidance document titled 'New Contrast Imaging Indication Considerations for Devices and Approved Drug and Biological Products,' dated December 2009, to assist developers of medical imaging devices and imaging drug/biological products that provide image contrast enhancement. This guidance supersedes the draft document released in September 2008.
