Federal Reserve Amends Regulation D to Increase Interest Rates on Reserve Balances and Excess Balances

The Federal Reserve is increasing interest rates on reserve balances and excess balances to 0.15 percent and 0.15 percent, respectively, in an effort to maintain the Federal funds rate within the target range established by the Federal Open Market Committee.
