U.S. Department of Energy Cancels Environmental Impact Statement for Strategic Petroleum Reserve Site

The U.S. Department of Energy has cancelled a supplemental environmental impact statement for facilities associated with the Strategic Petroleum Reserve expansion project in Richton, Mississippi, following a 2011 congressional decision to rescind funding for the project.
