U.S. Department of Energy Proposes Amendments to Residential Dishwasher and Appliance Test Procedures

The U.S. Department of Energy is proposing changes to its test procedures for residential dishwashers, dehumidifiers, and cooking products to include energy consumption measurements in standby and off modes, as mandated by the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007.
