CFTC Finds Zone 6-NY Financial Basis Contract Does Not Perform Significant Price Discovery Function

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission has issued an order stating that the Zone 6-NY Financial Basis contract traded on the IntercontinentalExchange, Inc. does not fulfill its primary function of price discovery, as required by the Commodity Exchange Act.
