Statement of Organization, Functions, and Delegations of Authority. This reorganization of AoA will achieve several important objectives: It will strengthen the organization by establishing strategic focal points for the agency's policy, programmatic and administrative functions; elevate AoA's National Long-Term Care Ombudsman activities; improve the integration of AoA's strategic planning, policy analysis, evaluation and program development functions; and consolidate programmatic operations to enhance the organization's capacity to implement the provisions of the Older Americans Act which seek to assist older Americans to remain at home by streamlining access to community-based care and empowering older adults to take more control of their own health through lifestyle and behavioral changes.

This notice invites comment on a proposed information collection project titled Public Health Crisis Response (PHCR) Cooperative Agreement. The Public Health Crisis Response (PHCR) Cooperative Agreement provides rapid funding to help existing public health programs respond to major public health emergencies and crises.
