FDA Releases Draft Guidance for Industry on Veterinary Drug Residue Studies

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has made available a draft guidance document, VICH GL48, which outlines study design recommendations for evaluating the metabolism and residue kinetics of veterinary drugs in food-producing animals, with the goal of establishing product withdrawal periods.
