HHS Announces Procedures for Submitting Letter of Intent to File Request for Benefits under Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program

The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has outlined procedures for individuals to submit a Letter of Intent to File a Request for Benefits under the Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP), which is authorized by the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act (PREP Act). The CICP provides compensation to those injured by pandemic, epidemic, or security countermeasures declared by the HHS Secretary.
