National Park Service Announces Final Environmental Impact Statement for Winter Use Plan in Yellowstone National Park

The National Park Service has released a Final Environmental Impact Statement for a Winter Use Plan in Yellowstone National Park, which evaluates eight alternatives and proposes allowing oversnow vehicle use for the winter of 2011/2012, with the goal of making a long-term decision before the 2012/2013 winter season.
