Insurer Reporting Requirements Rule Amendments

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has amended the Insurer Reporting Requirements, specifying annual report filing requirements and listing passenger motor vehicle insurers that must submit reports on motor vehicle theft loss experiences. Insurers required to file reports must submit three copies by October 25, 2009, with a one-time exception for reports filed after October 25, 2009, but not later than December 31, 2009.
