Mazda Granted Exemption from Vehicle Theft Prevention Standard for Mazda2
The US Department of Transportation has approved Mazda Motor Corporation's petition to exempt the Mazda2 vehicle line from the Vehicle Theft Prevention Standard, deeming the proposed antitheft device as effective in reducing motor vehicle theft.
