FAA Issues Revised Airworthiness Directive for McCauley Propeller Systems 1A103/TCM Series Propellers

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has updated an existing airworthiness directive for McCauley Propeller Systems 1A103/TCM series propellers to reduce compliance times and add additional inspections, in response to 16 reports of cracked propeller hubs since 2003, to prevent propeller separation and loss of control of the airplane.
