US Department of Labor Adopts Final Rule for Workplace Drug and Alcohol Testing Programs

The US Department of Labor has finalized a rule allowing employers to share employee drug and alcohol violations with state authorities, in compliance with state laws requiring such reporting, and in response to public comments on an interim final rule from 2008.
