IRS Makes 2012 Low Income Taxpayer Clinic Grant Application Package Available

The IRS has released the grant application package and guidelines for the 2012 Low Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC) matching grant cycle, which runs from January 1, 2012, to December 31, 2012, and has an application deadline of July 15, 2011. The IRS will award up to $6,000,000 in matching grants to qualifying organizations that provide free or low-cost representation to low-income taxpayers or education on taxpayer rights.
