Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Program Policy Directives

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announces that it will be holding public Webinars regarding the recent amendments to the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer Program (STTR) Policy Directives. These amendments implement provisions of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012. The Defense Authorization Act contained the SBIR/STTR Reauthorization Act of 2011 (Reauthorization Act), which made several key changes to the programs relating to eligibility, the SBIR award process, program administration, and fraud, waste and abuse. SBA has addressed these changes in the directives. The Webinar will provide a basic overview of and respond to questions regarding the changes to the Policy Directives. Although SBA published the directives as final, it is requesting comments on the various amendments made.
