Temporary Bridge Closure for Counterweight Wire Rope Replacement in New Orleans

The US Coast Guard has temporarily suspended the regulation governing the SR 46 Vertical Lift Bridge across the Inner Harbor Navigational Canal in New Orleans, allowing the bridge to remain closed for two 120-hour periods within a three-week span while counterweight wire ropes are replaced.
