DEA Places Carisoprodol in Schedule IV Under Controlled Substances Act

The Drug Enforcement Administration has officially added carisoprodol, including its various forms, to Schedule IV of the Controlled Substances Act, following a formal process that includes a record of the decision and an opportunity for a hearing.
