Revised Jurisdictional Thresholds for Section 8 of the Clayton Act

The Federal Trade Commission has announced revised thresholds for interlocking directorates under Section 8 of the Clayton Act, which prohibit competing corporations from having a single director or officer if their combined capital and profits exceed $29.9 million and $2.99 million, respectively. The new thresholds, effective immediately, are based on the annual revision required by Section 8(a)(5) and reflect changes in the gross national product.
