USDA Forest Service to Revise Land Management Plan for Uwharrie National Forest

The USDA Forest Service is updating the Uwharrie National Forest's land management plan, a process mandated by the National Forest Management Act, and will also prepare an Environmental Impact Statement to accompany the revised plan, with a public participation period expected to begin in the coming months.
