U.S. Department of Energy Initiates Mandatory Certification for Electric Motors
The U.S. Department of Energy is requiring manufacturers to certify their compliance with energy efficiency standards for certain commercial and industrial electric motors, as mandated by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 and the Energy Policy and Conservation Act.
