U.S. Department of Energy Announces Intent to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Texas Clean Energy Project

The U.S. Department of Energy plans to assess the potential environmental impacts of a proposed coal-fueled power and chemicals production plant with carbon capture and sequestration in Texas, as part of a $350 million funding award through the Clean Coal Power Initiative program.
