DOE Grants Waiver to Samsung for Residential Refrigerator-Freezers with Adaptive Control Anti-Sweat Heaters

The US Department of Energy has granted Samsung Electronics America, Inc. a waiver from its electric refrigerator and freezer test procedure, allowing the company to use an alternate test method for certain models featuring adaptive control anti-sweat heaters, which are designed to reduce energy consumption.
