NMFS Proposes Reduction in Weakfish Incidental Catch Allowance

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is proposing to decrease the incidental catch allowance for weakfish caught in the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) from 150 pounds to no more than 100 pounds per day or trip, in an effort to align regulations with the Interstate Fishery Management Plan for weakfish.
