Notice is hereby given that Institute for Marine Mammal Studies (IMMS), P.O. Box 207, Gulfport, MS 39502 (Dr. Moby Solangi, Responsible Party), has applied in due form for a permit to obtain stranded, releasable California sea lions (Zalophus californianus) from the National Marine Mammal Stranding Response Program for the purposes of public display.

NMFS has received a request from the City and Borough of Juneau (CBJ) for authorization to take marine mammals incidental to the Seawalk Extension Project in Juneau, Alaska (AK). Pursuant to the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA), NMFS is requesting comments on its proposal to issue an incidental harassment authorization (IHA) to incidentally take marine mammals during the specified activities. NMFS is also requesting comments on a possible one-time, 1-year renewal that could be issued under certain circumstances and if all requirements are met, as described in Request for Public Comments at the end of this notice. NMFS will consider public comments prior to making any final decision on the issuance of the requested MMPA authorization and agency responses will be summarized in the final notice of our decision.

The U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) preliminarily determines that sales of welded stainless steel pressure pipe (stainless pressure pipe) from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (Vietnam) were made at less than normal value (NV) during the period of review (POR) July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025. Additionally, Commerce intends to preliminarily rescind the review, in part, with respect to seven companies. Interested parties are invited to comment on these preliminary results of review.
