US Navy Issues Letters of Authorization for Marine Mammal Surveys
The US Navy has issued three one-year Letters of Authorization to take marine mammals by harassment incidental to its SURTASS LFA sonar operations, in accordance with the Marine Mammal Protection Act and implementing regulations.
