NMFS Promulgates Regulations for Empire Wind Project's Marine Mammal Incidental Taking

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has issued regulations to govern the incidental taking of marine mammals during the construction of the Empire Wind Project, a 50-50 partnership between Equinor and BP p.l.c., off the coast of New York, from February 22, 2024, to February 21, 2029.
