Summary

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive for all Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH Model MBB-BK 117 C-2 helicopters to address vibrations of the yaw axis during a hover taxi. The AD requires repetitive inspections and corrective action, as well as prohibits installing certain tail rotor actuators unless requirements are met.
