Coast Guard Withdraws Proposed Rulemaking for Figure Eight Swing Bridge at Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway

The US Coast Guard has withdrawn its proposal to modify the regulations governing the Figure Eight Swing Bridge at the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway (AIWW) in Scotts Hill, North Carolina, which would have allowed the drawbridge to open every hour on the half hour for pleasure vessels.
