FMCSA Requests Public Comment on Exemption from Entry-Level Driver Training Regulations

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has received a joint application from Millis Transfer LLC, Heartland Express, and Contract Freighter's Inc. requesting an exemption from the entry-level driver training regulations requiring a behind-the-wheel instructor to have at least two years' experience driving a commercial motor vehicle or two years' experience as a behind-the-wheel CMV instructor.
