Coast Guard Delays Effective Date for TWIC-Reader Requirements

The Coast Guard is further delaying the effective date for certain facilities affected by the final rule on Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)--Reader Requirements, now set for May 8, 2029, from earlier dates of May 8, 2026 and May 8, 2023.
