OSM Approves Montana Regulatory Program Amendment

The Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSM) is approving an amendment to Montana's regulatory program under the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977, in response to a Montana law passed by the Senate, Senate Bill 365. The amendment clarifies siltation structure requirements during extreme weather conditions.
