OPM Amends Regulations for Critical Position Pay Authority

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has updated its regulations to establish the Executive Schedule as the default maximum critical pay rate, eliminating non-statutory caps and approval criteria, and clarifying the treatment of critical pay rates as basic pay.
