Montana Regulatory Program Amendment Proposal Received by OSMRE

The Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSMRE) has received a proposed amendment to Montana's regulatory program under the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977. Montana submitted the proposal following the passage of Senate Bill 368 in the 2025 legislative session.
