Montana Regulatory Program Amendment Proposal

The Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSMRE) has received a proposed amendment to Montana's regulatory program, which includes changes to siltation structures and an exception for capacity violations resulting from small storms, following Montana Senate Bill 365 in 2025.
