Montana Regulatory Program Amendment Proposal Received by OSMRE

The Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSMRE) has announced receipt of a proposed amendment to Montana's regulatory program under the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977. Montana submitted the proposed amendment following the passage of Montana House Bill 587 in the 2025 legislative session.
