Montana Regulatory Program Amendment Proposal

The Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSMRE) has received a proposed amendment to Montana's regulatory program, submitted by the state following the passage of Montana House Bill 633 in 2025, which proposes changes to the Montana Code Annotated and adds contingencies related to the bill.
