Temporary Bridge Closure for Counterweight Wire Rope Adjustment in New Orleans

The US Coast Guard has issued a temporary deviation to allow the SR 39 vertical lift bridge to remain closed for two 72-hour periods within a two-week period while counterweight wire ropes are adjusted, necessary for its operation.
