FMCSA Proposes Pilot Program to Allow Commercial Drivers to Split Sleeper Berth Time

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is proposing a pilot program that would allow approximately 256 commercial drivers to split their sleeper berth time, providing temporary regulatory relief from the requirement of at least 7 consecutive hours of rest in the sleeper berth.
