EPA Grants Partial Approval of US Steel Permit

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator signed an order on September 16, 2025, partially approving a petition from the United States Steel Corporation to object to a Clean Air Act operating permit issued by the Allegheny County Health Department for its Clairton plant in Pennsylvania.
