Airline Refunds and Other Consumer Protections
The U.S. Department of Transportation has temporarily paused enforcement of refund regulations for cancelled flights that are renumbered, as long as the passenger is rebooked on the new flight and the flight operates without significant changes or delays. This decision is part of a new rulemaking process to consider modifying the definition of a cancelled flight.
