U.S. Department of Education and U.S. Department of the Treasury Re-establish Matching Program for Federal Student Financial Aid

The U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Internal Revenue Service will re-establish a matching program to determine eligibility for and repayments of federal student loans and grants, as mandated by the Fostering Undergraduate Talent by Unlocking Resources for Education Act (FUTURE Act) and the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act).
