FAA adopts airworthiness directive for Pratt & Whitney Canada Corp. engines

The FAA is issuing an airworthiness directive for all Pratt & Whitney Canada Corp. Model PW307D engines due to a root cause analysis of an uncontained failure of a high-pressure turbine disk, prompting the removal of certain HPT 2nd-stage disks from service and prohibiting the installation of others.
