PHMSA Issues Advisory Bulletin on Hard Spots in Pipelines

The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) is advising pipeline owners and operators to evaluate their facilities for potential hard spots in the pipe body, which can affect multiple pipelines manufactured before 1970 and pose a threat to pipeline integrity.
